Product Description：




VONETS VBG1200 is an Industrial Dual-band 2.4GHz+5GHz AC1200 WiFi Bridge/Wireless Repeater/Mini WiFi Router, can achieve WiFi to Wired or Wired to WiFi (WiFi to Ethernet or Ethernet to WiFi convert).

Great ideal for elevator hotel wifi, Electronic monitoring, Dreambox, IP camera, PS3, Network Printer, Digital Industrial Scale PLC, Robot, Doll Machine, Medical instruments, Video transmission etc network devices and applications.



Metal shell product, the aluminum alloy shell has good heat dissipation characteristics, and quickly conducts the heat generated by the chip to the metal shell, ensuring that the internal chip works more stably! At this time, the metal shell will generate heat, but there is no need to worry too much about the shell temperature. After a lot of tests, the product can work normally.

Please do not worry about heat generation, it can be used normally. That would be better if can cool down the product when using it.


Function Features:

12. Adopt VDNS virtual domain configuration technology to solve the user's trouble of configuration;

13. Support WEB management, Chinese and English configuration interface;

15. Support IP layer transparent transmission and MAC layer transparent transmission two bridge modes to meet various bridge applications:
IP layer transparent transmission (factory default), transparent transmission of IP layer data, can meet most of the bridge applications;


MAC layer transparent transmission all data above the MAC layer (link layer) and the MAC layer, including IP layer data; MAC transparent transmission can solve some special applications for MAC layer encryption, such as GoPro camera, Cisco AP, Hikvision monitoring, system, etc.


Hardware Features:

1. Support wide voltage DC5-15V power supply, two-stage automatic overvoltage protection (Protection voltage upper limit 15.5V);

2. The output power of the power supply is not less than 10W (typical power supply 5V/2A or 12V/1A, ripple less than 100mV);

3. Module power supply: 1.3W -- 3.75W;

4. WiFi Work Band: 2.4G + 5G;

5. WiFi transmission rate: 300Mbps (2.4G)+900Mbps(5G), theoretical value;

6. RF Power: 2.4G is 15dBm/16.5dBm optional, 5G is 19dBm/23dBm optional;

7. The transmission distance (5G without obstacle): Point-to-point Transmission distance: maximum can be up to 300 meters when without obstacle and small data (by 802.11a), 20 meters to 100 meters when used for video transmission;

8. The module built-in LNA, the receiving sensitivity is 14dB;

9. Standard package external antenna: 2*3dBi 2.4G antenna, 2*3dBi 5G antenna;

10. Adopt temperature compensated auto frequency control technology, WiFi signal is more stable and not easy to drop;

11. The aluminum alloy shell has good heat dissipation characteristics, which can quickly dissipate the heat generated when the device is working;

12. Work Environment temperature: -20℃ to 50℃.

13. 14. Reset button: Long press 5 seconds then release, the device will automatically restore the factory (During operation, the product can not be powered down, otherwise it may cause damage to the product.)

Must use an Independent or standard/typical 5V/2A or 12V/1A (DC5V-15V, ripple less than 100mV) power supply to power the VONETS products,  and don't PLUG the USB cable of the VONETS product into the PC or Laptop's USB port to power, otherwise it cannot power up.
How to reset this item?
Power on the device, after 60 seconds, long press Reset button until 5 seconds, the green light will flash, then the device will automatically reset to the factory default parameters (it will take about 80 seconds to reset the device), please keep the power on during the time of recovery to factory default.
You don't need to look at the interface during the configuration restart process, just look at the LED flashing status:   observe the status of the WiFi light of the device(WiFi Bridge), from slow flicker It flashes quickly, indicating that the device has started successfully.



LED Status Indication:

Ethernet Port Status Light (Yellow);

2.4G WiFi Connection Status Light (Blue);

5G WiFi Connection Status Light (Green);



Tips:

1. After configuration, if this device doesn't work with your devices or your application is AC managed AP, GoPro camera, Cisco AP, Hikvision surveillance system, please change the setting of "Transmission mode" to "MAC layer transparent";

2. If you want to use Huawei or iPhone as the source hotspot for WiFi bridge, please select "SSID and password match" in the "Advanced Setting" under the upper-level hotspot password during configuration.

3. If the device disconnects frequently or other problems during use, you can upgrade the software online and maybe solve the problem!


QUESTIONS:

Q: I have a printer without a wifi function. Currently, the computer and the printer are directly connected with the network cable. Now I want to use this device instead of the network cable. Is this possible?

A: Yes, it can, this is ethernet to wifi bridge application. Plug the network cable of the WiFi bridge into the network port of the printer, and then connect the computer to the wifi of the WiFi bridge to use.
